Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a kid she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. At the age of she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother for Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. She then went on to perform backing vocals for Lou Rawls, Jermaine, as well as her mom. Her first gig was as a lead vocalist with the band from New York called Material as well. It was her high quality of her vocal work in the band that caught the attention of the major record labels including Arista which she signed with in 1983, and with whom she stayed for the rest of her professional career. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most popular artist. While the film wasn't very well received, nor did her performance, but the music of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the number one spot on both singles and albums charts in America for a period of time. It sold 44,000,000 copies. Their daughter Bobbi was born March of 1993, a year following her wedding to Bobby Brown. It was at this point and at the time of her death in 1996, she'd become a regular user.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works for CNN as both a reporter, anchorwoman and political correspondent. The anchorwoman produced a number of shows on weekends on the network, including Evans & Novak: Late Edition" as well as Inside Politics." She worked previously for NBC as well as CBS.
