Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963. She was born in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. Her first singing gig was in the choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with her mother on Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. Then, she performed backing vocals to Jermaine Jackson and Lou Rawls and her mother. Her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material attracted the attention of several major record labels, including Arista and Arista, which she signed in 1982 and was with them for the rest of her life. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the most-sold album by an unproven singer. A number of hit singles, such as Saving All My Love For You How Can I Tell You If That You Love Me and The greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US numbers one. The album was sold to three million people in during its initial year, as well as 25 million around the world. The album won her first six Grammy Awards. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney that included hits What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the best-selling artists in history. Even though the movie and actor's performance weren't highly praised, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her most popular single and albums for many months. The album sold over 44 million copies across the globe. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician with whom she bore her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. About this time her well-documented addiction to drugs began. By 1996, the singer was using drugs daily.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as both anchorwoman, reporter and political reporter. She produced several weekend shows on the network, which include Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She has previously worked for NBC as well as CBS. When it comes to awards and honors Bash has been featured in Women in Washington Power List which was published by Elle magazine. She is highly respected for her amazing abilities as a reporter/an anchor. She is a George Washington University graduate is an extremely loving mom of a son. The couple was divorced twice and she is now dating. Bash loves her supporters and her fans with all her heart. This is the reason she is an American journalist has a presence in social media sites such as Instagram as well as Twitter which keeps her followers updated about the events within her personal life.
