Jenna-Louise Coleman has been a British actor for many years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Clara Oswald, the character she played in Doctor Who. In her early years the actress was a member of Yer Space a theater company which performed Crystal Clear during the Edinburgh Festival. Coleman's performance was well-received and she received an award. Coleman's first break was in 2005, when she was cast as Jasmine Thomas on the Emmerdale soap-opera. Coleman continued to be a part of Emmerdale up to the very end of the year. The role she played in the role of Jasmine Thomas earned her a nomination for Most Popular Young Actress at the National Television Awards in 2006. Coleman began her career in the film industry in the year 2011, where she played Connie who was on the film Captain America: The First Avenger. Coleman's biggest chance to showcase her talents was when she accepted the offer to play the ex- British monarch Queen Victoria in the ITV drama Victoria. Coleman's acting career has progressed from playing Lindsay James, a young girl in the BBC series Waterloo Road, to portraying an empress in the role of Victoria.
